【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesproductscreening.Aproperproductscreenisactuallyaprocess,notatest.Asaprocess,itismaintainedandconstantlyvalidatedtoensureitachievesthepurposeforwhichitwasdefined.Thisprocessisappliedtoaproductinordertoinduceproductswithaknownfailuremechanism,tofailinacontrolledsituationbeforetheproductisdeployedinthefield.Ifthisprocessisproperlyapplied,thenallinfantmortalityfailuresinthefield,associatedwiththefailuremechanism(s)forthescreen,willbeeliminated.Figure1showstheclassical"bathtub"three-regioncurveoffailureratesformostproducts.Althoughthefailureratesofpassiveopticalcomponentshavenotbeenconclusivelyshowntofollowthiscurve,itisusefulforillustrativepurposes.Screeningisknownforsomeproductsasaproofstressorinthecaseofelectronics,asa"burn-inprocess".Whenappliedtoaproduct,itwillnormallyaffectthefailurerateappliedduringtheinfantmortalityportionoftheproductlifecycle.Ifthescreenisproperlychosen,itwillinduceaportionoftheinfantmortalityfailurescausedbythechosenfailuremechanism(s)tooccurinthemanufacturingcycle,earlierthanwouldnormallybeseenintheunscreenedpopulationshowninthedashedline.Also,itshouldbenotedthataproperlyappliedscreendoesnotweakenordegradethewear-outorendoflifeperformanceofaproductpopulation.Inanycase,thescreenshouldalsonotaffectthemiddleregionofnormallifeutilization.Screeningandthedecisiontoapplyascreentoaproductprocessshouldneverbearequirement.Itshouldbedesignatedasanoptionoranalternative.Onceproducttestingidentifiesafailuremechanisminapopulationorsub-populationofaproduct,screeningtoremovethatmechanismisonlyonealternative.Equallyvalid,andinmostcasespreferable,isthealternativetomakedesignormanufacturingprocessimprovementstoeliminatethemechanism.Obviously,anychangestotheproductarethenrevalidated,andthescreenisrevalidatedaswell.However,thedecisiontochoosewhethertoscreenorimprovetheproductshouldbebasedoneconomics,customerexpectations,andproductuse.

【摘要】:1.1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingtheflexuralpropertiesofrigid(see3.12)andsemi-rigidplasticsunderdefinedconditions.Astandardtestspecimenisdefined,butparametersareincludedforalternativespecimensizesforusewhereappropriate.Arangeoftestspeedsisincluded.1.2Themethodisusedtoinvestigatetheflexuralbehaviour!1]ofthetestspecimensandfordeterminingtheflexuralstrength,flexuralmodulusandotheraspectsoftheflexuralstress/strainrelationshipundertheconditionsdefined.Itappliestoafreelysupportedbeam,loadedatmidspan(three-pointloadingtest).1.3Themethodissuitableforusewiththefollowingrangeofmaterials:—thermoplasticsmouldingandextrusionmaterials,includingfilledandreinforcedcompoundsinadditiontounfilledtypes;rigidthermoplasticssheets;—thermosettingmouldingmaterials,includingfilledandreinforcedcompounds;thermosettingsheets.InagreementwithISO10350-1andISO10350-2,thisInternationalStandardappliestofibre-reinforcedcompoundswithfibrelengths<7,5mmpriortoprocessing.Forlong-fibre-reinforcedmaterials(laminates)withfibrelengths>7,5mm,seereference[2]inthebibliography.Themethodisnotnormallysuitableforusewithrigidcellularmaterialsandsandwichstructurescontainingcellularmaterial!3'4].NOTEForcertaintypesoftextile-fibre-reinforcedplastics,afour-pointbendingtestispreferred.Itisdescribedinreference[2].1.4Themethodisperformedusingspecimenswhichmaybemouldedtothespecifieddimensions,machinedfromthecentralportionofastandardmultipurposetestspecimen(seeISO3167)ormachinedfromfinishedorsemi-finishedproductssuchasmouldings,orextrudedorcastsheet.1.5Themethodspecifiespreferreddimensionsforthetestspecimen.Testswhicharecarriedoutonspecimensofdifferentdimensions,oronspecimenswhicharepreparedunderdifferentconditions,mayproduceresultswhicharenotcomparable.Otherfactors,suchasthetestspeedandtheconditioningofthespecimens,canalsoinfluencetheresults.Especiallyforsemi-crystallinepolymers,thethicknessoftheorientedskinlayer,whichisdependentonmouldingconditionsandthickness,affectstheflexuralproperties.Consequently,whencomparabledataarerequired,thesefactorsmustbecarefullycontrolledandrecorded.1.6Flexuralpropertiescanonlybeusedforengineeringdesignpurposesformaterialswithlinearstress/strainbehaviour.Fornon-linearbehaviour,theflexuralpropertiesareonlynominal.Thebendingtestshouldpreferentiallybeusedwithbrittlematerials,forwhichtensiletestsaredifficult.
