【摘要】:Summarizingtheashcontentandthecontentoftheorganicconstituentsinaspecificformatundertheheading,UltimateAnalysis,providesaconvenientanduniformsystemforcomparingcoalsorcokes.ThistabulationusedwiththatofProximateAnalysis(PracticeD3172)permitscursoryvaluationofcoalsforuseasfuelorinothercarbonaceousprocessesandofcokesformetallurgicalpurpose.1.1Thispracticecoversthetermultimateanalysisasitisappliedtotheanalysisofcoalandcoke.Theinformationderivedisintendedforthegeneralutilizationbyapplicableindustries,toprovidethebasisforevaluation,beneficiation,orforotherpurposes.1.2Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
