【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaframeworkdesignedtoprovideguidanceonthebasicprinciplesforrepresentingdatarecordedinterminologicaldatacollections.Thisframeworkincludesameta-modelandmethodsfordescribingspecificterminologicalmarkuplanguages(TMLs)expressedinXML.ThemechanismsforimplementingconstraintsinaTMLaredefinedinthisInternationalStandard,butnotthespecificconstraintsforindividualTMLs,exceptforthethreeTMLsdefinedinAnnexesBtoD.ThisInternationalStandardisdesignedtosupportthedevelopmentanduseofcomputerapplicationsforterminologicaldataandtheexchangeofsuchdatabetweendifferentapplications.ItdoesnotstandardizedatacategoriesandmethodsforthespecificationofdatastructureswhicharespecifiedinISO12620andotherrelatedInternationalStandards.ThisInternationalStandardalsodefinestheconditionsthatallowthedataexpressedinoneTMLtobemappedontoanotherTMLandspecifiesagenericmappingtool(GMT)forthispurpose(seeAnnexA).Inaddition,thisInternationalStandarddescribesagenericmodelfordescribinglinguisticdata.
