【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeappliestotheprocessofdefininganddocumentingthecapabilities,logicaldatasources,andpathwaysofdataexchangeregardingpharmacotherapyinformationserviceswithinagivennetworkarchitectureservingasetofhealthcareconstituents.1.2Thispracticeisnotatechnicalimplementationstandardbut,rather,describeshowtheimplementationmethodsandtechniquescanbeusedtocoordinatepharmacotherapyserviceslogicallywithinanelectronichealthrecord(EHR)systemsenvironmentinvolvingparticipatingorganizationsandsitesconnectedbyanetworkedcommunicationsystem.1.3ThispracticecoversthecontentofthenodesandarcsoftheresultinglogicalnetworkinvolvingEHR,pharmacy,andclinicallaboratory-capablesites.Thispracticealsoconsidersthevariouspurposesandorganizationalarrangementsforcoordinatingpharmacotherapyserviceswithinthenetworkboundariesandtheconsiderationsforconnectionsamongexternalnetworks.1.4Thispracticereferstootherstandardsforconventionswithinvariousdatadomains,suchaspharmacysystems,clinicallaboratoryinformationmanagementsystems(CLIMS),andEHRsystems,andformessagingconventions.1.5Thispracticeisintendedtooutlinehowintegrationofpharmacy,CLIMS,andEHRinformationsystemscanbeundertakentoresultinatransparentpharmacotherapyclinicaldecisionsupportenvironment,regardlessoftheunderlyingimplementationarchitecture,bydescribingthelogicalinteroperabilityofinformationdomainsasfacilitatedbyinformationandcommunicationstechnology(ICT).1.6Thispracticeisdirectedatpharmacists,clinicalpharmacologists,clinicallaboratorians,informationsystemmanagers,andinformationsystemsvendorsforuseinplanningandimplementingcoordinatedpharmacotherapyservicesthrougheffectivedialog.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
