【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverscrosslinkedpolyethylene(PEX)tubingthatisoutsidediametercontrolled,madeinstandardthermoplastictubingdimensionratios,andpressureratedforwateratthreetemperatures(seeAppendixX1).Includedarerequirementsandtestmethodsformaterial,workmanship,dimensions,sustainedpressure,burstpressure,environmentalstresscracking,stabilizermigrationresistance,anddegreeofcrosslinking.Methodsofmarkingarealsogiven.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
